Balloons on the bus go POP POP POP

Some of us went into town one afternoon while the rest of the clan went on the canopy tour (a series of zip lines through the jungle, ask Roland about it he went) We took the bus in with 6 kids and three strollers. Luckily the bus going into town wasn't crowded. We walked around for a bit and after realizing everyone was cranky we sat down to eat. We went to Senior Frogs, they had a balloon hat maker there who made a hat for everyone in the restaurant. As you can see in the picture several of the hats were made with three or four balloons. In addition to the hats Zack and James both got two balloon swords. After eating we decided we have seen enough for one day (we all wanted to get back to the pool) and decided to go catch a bus back to the hotel. We start walking and make it to a bus stop just as the right bus pulls up. We jump on with the kids and strollers and all the balloon hats and swords. Somehow Amanda Charlotte and I end up with all the balloons on your row (at least we got a seat)People are looking at us like, seriously you are going to take up space on our bus with all those balloons. The bus fills up fast. We realize everyone is riding all the way to the hotels because it was close to a shift change. So as we head back the bus gets completely full and really hot. When air gets hot it expands. Balloons start popping, after every pop Amanda and assure passengers that it was just a balloon popping. By the time we make it back to the hotel only one hat remained in tact and Amanda and I were covered in bits of rubber. Next time we are going to make people carry their own balloon hats if they want to keep them.
