Charlotte is such a funny girl. She is always making me laugh. Today we were driving in the car and her window is down and as we have been driving she has been saying,'stick stick stick' over and over (i think she started repeating it because it was making Isabel laugh) well she had been saying it so many times that it was starting to sound like d**k. I didn't what to freak out and tell her not to say that word because we all know that is when they remember the words. So I said why don't try a different word. I just laughed out loud when she chose DUCK.

Charlotte loves to paint. If I need her to do anything, I know that I can bribe her with a painting session. She is getting really good to. She has started pointing out what is what in the painting, I love seeing her creativity.

I got a new camera for Christmas and since then it has been so fun taking pictures that we often have 'photo shoots' at our house. I once put Isabel in a canvas box for a picture and since then Charlotte sees the camera she runs for something to climb inside. CHEESE!!!

Charlotte has a new morning ritual. She hears Isabel, 'Isabels awake!!!' and runs into her room and climbs into her crib. They play for 30 minutes before either of them are ready to get out. Isabel loves her so much that she always WANTS Charlotte to use her binky.(So claims Charlotte, I don't speak Baby so I will take her word for it)

It is gardening time!! Charlotte and Roland are back out in the garden. They already have peas coming up. This week they planted Squash, Tomatoes, and all sorts of peppers. Charlotte still loves the dirt. And her Dad. We are excited to go out and eat peas while we work.

Dad and Charlotte. Partners for the egg toss on Easter, Roland taught Charlotte to catch with her skirt.

Charlotte is definitely her mother's daughter, she would rather suck on cured meat over a piece candy (as would her mom) She has even started dragging her bed into the living room. Ask Roland, I used to bring our bed into the living room.
She learns so much everyday it is so hard to keep up. We were working out in the yard and she picked up the scissors and while postioning her hand in the handles she said, use your thumbs just like Mickey Mouse.
